A Simply FABULOUS Christmas

Inspired by the ultra-hip designer Jonathan Adler’s lighthearted and unique look at life and style, A Simply Fabulous Christmas combines the class and sophistication of traditional holiday music with some of the most whimsical and infectiously entertaining musical styles. This "familiar yet fresh" approach fits in perfectly with Pottery Barn’s new direction in home design.

We focused on three of Adler’s “10 Commandments of Happy Chic”:

#1 Thou shalt embrace maximalism.

#5 Thou shalt mix fancy with frisky.

#6  Thou shalt honor the funsters of yore.

Following these guidelines, we combined big-band swing (Brian Setzer), instrumental surfer rock (the Ventures), contemporary alternative rock (The Smithereens), and the sultry Eartha Kitt, with the breezy island paradise musings of Leon Redbone’s “Christmas Island” and for extra friskiness recent remixes of timeless classics by Nat Cole and Eartha Kitt.  A Simply Fabulous Christmas. The epitome of irreverent luxury - musically speaking.
